Grit Gets Results
The story of Precinct 4 is one of history – and growth. Commissioner Gray and his family have been here for it for eight generations.
Precinct 4 has the largest land mass in Montgomery County and it is booming. With this growth comes the immediate need for infrastructure solutions that are not knee jerk reactions to fix an isolated issue but that are thoughtful plans to be implemented quickly and efficiently for long-term solutions in our community.
Commissioner Gray had a vision for Precinct 4 when he ran to serve. Since being elected in 2022, the Commissioner has worked diligently to have every penny of your taxpayer dollars invested in regional improvements that provide targeted responses.
Matt came into office laser-focused on our streets and drainage. He swiftly found ways to save money on routine roadwork and completed key road projects, closing out existing bond projects.
Commissioner Gray has applied for a historic number of grants and has already received $27 million in funding for drainage, mobility and parks. Local projects are now planned a year out and he created a much-needed 20-year mobility and drainage plan for our area. Matt is working with developers on master-planned communities that complement the area to enhance quality and infrastructure that can stand the test of time.
Working hand-in-hand with the Constable and his team of law enforcement leaders, the Commissioner has cracked down on illegal dumping, illegal selling of animals and those trying to circumvent the tax system.
Throughout all the work being planned and accomplished for Precinct 4, Matt and his team are committed to keeping constituent services and direct communication at the forefront.
